Week 54: "Every little thing, is gonna be all wight"

OKay so we had a district preparation day in Portsmouth so this one will be a bit shorter.

This week was hard.

Everything from frustations with mortal limitations, running from doctor to doctor, and the most amazing people no longer wanting to talk to you has happened this week. There have been highs and there have been many many lows.

Here's the thing though.

I am okay.

Even when the hardships have come, even when the tears fall, even when it seems like you are at your lowest, God is there. He sees your tears and He weeps with you. I have earnestly sought my Father in Heaven this week. I have plead for His strength and His guidance. At first I felt like I was not getting it. Then I realised I am still here. I realised I can still laugh about the circumstances I am in. I can still smile when I have no reasons too. I still have hope. That, my friends is a gift. God has been keeping me afloat. Sometimes we wish that God would help us fly, but forget that being on solid ground is a miracle in and of itself.

British Word of the Week: Green man - all the children refer to the crossing lights as red and green men. All the little kids will shout "COME ON GREEN MAN!" It is absolutely adorable.

British Food of the Week: Full English Breakfast - Google it. Elder Brewster treated me to one this morning. It was brilliant.

Scripture of the Week: So europe is doing this 21 day Book of Mormon challenge and I wanted to share that with you. Check out lds.org.uk for more. It has a question of the soul, verses that answer that question, and a quote from a church leader about the topic. it has been three days already and I am loving it and so are the people we are sharing it with.

Companion Comic: we bought two dozen doughnuts from krispy kreme today and I had at least 6 #noregrets

Sorry for the lacking substance today. I love you all and I know my mom is going to tell me not to apologise for the short email but still I want to let you know that next week I will have more for you all :-)

I love you all and your photos and emails and prayers mean the world. Love you and have an amazing week.
