Hey friends. So disclaimer. We have some new technology guidelines that I wanted to make you aware of. I will be deactivating my old facebook for now and creating a new one to only use with people here in England. So bye bye for now on Facebook. Also, I only have 90 minutes to email home each Monday now. So that means this weekly email is about to get a lot shorter. That being said, this week: So we had some really great ups and some really low downs this week. First the downs: So a friend of ours we have been working with was planning on getting baptised this weekend. Given some circumstances, he is now going to be waiting until December. There are a lot of details I will not get into but the important thing is we are still really close with him and are going to keep seeing him. We are just going to do everything we can to make sure that nothing derails him from his desire to be baptised between now and December. Another thing is that this week has just been draining. Hon...

Week 6: England Bacon is Odd

Good morning everyone! Another week has come and gone here in Holsworthy and it's been interesting. We spend much of our time knocking on doors, talking to people on the street, and approaching people around town, all with the goal of trying to find people interested in hearing the message we share about the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have not had much success as of late, but we continue to talk and search. The members of the church here in my area are so wonderful and kind. We get fed dinner almost every other day and others give us food if they can't have us over. They are also doing much to help us in our efforts. I'm grateful that we have their support, as few in number as they are. We did a lot of driving this week. General conference, the church broadcast I mentioned in my last email, was broadcasted in a chapel about 1.5 hours away from where we live. Week 61: "I'll be frank with you"

o, in full disclosure, I have gone through my inbox and have been deleting things to make space for photos in Google photos and may have accidentally deleted old emails that I meant to respond to. So if you responded to my group email last week and I have not responded to you yet, that is probably what happened. It's hard to keep track   Also, I think I am on week  61 , but if not, please correct me haha. Anyways, welcome! This email might be just a bit shorter because we have a lot we need to do today. We are needed in london tonight because, drumroll please...ELDER BREWSTER IS GOING TO LONDON! I am so excited for him. He will be serving where the Westminster abbey, buckingham palace and big ben are so I am only a little bit jealous. I am sad to see him go.
